ABOUT US
Sovereign Grace Baptist Church is an assembly of believers who desire to be God-centered rather than man-centered. We worship God each Sunday in the form of traditional worship and the singing of hymns. We emphasize the Sovereignty of God, the preaching of the Word, and the Glory of God in all things.
We are a Reformed Baptist church, with a great appreciation for the 1689 London Baptist Confession of faith.
Sunday School starts at 9:45am
Sunday Service starts at 11:00am
*The first Sunday of every month we have corporate prayer in lieu of adult Sunday School.*
Pastor Doug Edwards
Doug Edwards was converted at the age of 23, while working for the Tacoma Fire Department. He completed seminary studies in 1986, and then began to serve as associate Pastor of Enumclaw Baptist Church (Currently Sovereign Grace Baptist Church) in 1986. He has been the senior Pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church (Enumclaw, WA) since 1990. He is committed to preaching through books of the Bible in an expository fashion. He has a great appreciation for Puritans such as John Owen, John Flavel, Richard Sibbes and others of that stamp. He seeks to bring glory to God through the faithful teaching and preaching of His Holy Word.
